NHSolutions was created by Lyme Valley Practice to assist in bidding for local practices. This approach combines the best of traditional General Practice and patient care, with modern strong management. We are GP led and all our staff are employed through the NHS practice and are entitled to join or remain within the NHS Pension Scheme should they wish.
Our strength lies in our Clinical Governance and our focus on evidence‐based medicine and maintaining the highest quality of care for our patients. We have our own evidence based standards that we agree and strive to achieve. We believe in putting patients first and encourage all our staff, clinical and non‐clinical to develop professionally with our support.
Our team structure has no hierarchy and we are working towards the Investors in People accreditation. All our staff work together to develop the practice and everyone has a say in our future.
All clinicians are involved in teaching and training. Currently Lyme Valley Practice, Packmoor Medical Centre, Waterside Medical Centre and Whipperley Medical Centre are Training Practices. Archway Surgery has GPs who are attending a local Trainers course as part of the process to become a Training Practice. Medical students are taught throughout our organization and our Medical Director, Dr Omar Rahim teaches and examines at the Royal Free and UCL Medical School.
